This 1970's inspired pickup truck was built as an initial benchmark asset for cars in Alan Wake II.
Using a pickup truck allowed us to get the most bang for buck by adding a bunch of variations that changed the silhouette significantly without creating a ton of modeling overhead.
Cars were supposed to fit into the idyllic, small-town americana vision of Bright Falls as well as its more rundown neighbour Watery.
For this reason they were built to allow for flexibility, using mesh and colour variations as well as more dirty and rusty versions that could be used in Watery and the Dark Place.
